cool for neophyte

my mother was an English teacher & poet. app is most accessible for those not in the poetry narrative. BZ = well done (naval speak)

Wonderful! Here are some suggestions

I love this app, and am finding I use it all the time, on the subway, before bed, at lunch, etc. A few comments: A number of well known poets are not represented, including Anne Sexton, Dylan Thomas, Rumi, Nikki Giovanni, and Maya Angelou. These poets would be essentials in any poetry anthology. The upside to this is there are lots and lots of young emerging poets whom I havent heard of, and many are quite good. I cant seem to figure out how to share my favorite poems on twitter. This could be something the app could improve on, or maybe someone needs to show me. Ive gone into my iPhone settings many times and surfed the web to find an answer.

Randomly Magnificent

Do you ever walk through the poetry section of your library and grab random books, read a poem or two, then repeat a few times? This app lets you do that in your living room or favorite coffee house, and you can even direct it to give you random poems but on your desired topic or mood. Give it a spin!

Loving It

Im loving this app all over again. Well done team Poetry!

Poetry

I love this app. Expand your mind!

No sound!

So I want to explore the sound section, yet, it does not work ..? Really annoying.

Best poetry app

I cant imagine a better app for poetry on the go: its easy, endless, and makes finding the opportune poetry for your mood a breeze! Do itttt

Great app

I am giving five stars. This app allows you to chose two categories of poetry at once to creat unique list of reading lists for educational purposes and personal enjoyment. The one minor problem I had was that none of the recorded poems worked. They were all either too quiet or had no sound at all.please consider fixing this one minor glitch of this awesome app.

Fantastic!

This app is wonderful. I love it in every possible way.

One thing missing

I really like this app, but so far I am very disappointed because I dont see a way to log in to my poetry foundation account and see all the favorite poems that I already have stored there.

A no-brainer download

Yes. Of course. Are there holes in this apps collection? Is its design imperfect? Should you download it and enjoy its thoughtfully curated collection of often-excellent verse?

A true treasure!!

I love this app. I have lived and written poetry since I was able to read and write and this app gets used daily. It makes my heart happy!!

Random beauty

This app never fails to make my day a bit brighter, a tiny bit deeper, sometimes somewhat profound. More, please! Thank you!

Wonderful way to kill time

I am not a poetry buff but I like it now and then. This app is perfect for that moment when social media is making you crazy but you need something to let your mind focus on. After a turn or two with the spinner I always feel inspired.

Love it!

I first heard of this from listening to "Performance Today", when they had "Writers Almanac". I love the poems in the "humor and nature" section!

Spin is superfluous

All I want to do is read Poetry mag on my iPhone while waiting for my flight. But no! This app: Its poetry roulette. Not necessary. Not useful. No thank you.

yay woot!

yay yay! i say yay yay yay! woot woot! i hoot woot woot woot! (suggest you include a link from the poet bios to all the poets poems, as you do at the bottom of each poem)

A treasure!

Thank you for this wonderful app!

Important App

The world (of words) literally at your fingertips, anywhere, anytime. Nothing else available compares, and Im not talking exclusively about poetry apps.

BRILLIANT BRILLIANT. BRILLIANT

What a great idea. Love this app. Its like the penny arcade meets poetry meets social media.
