I would give this five stars if I could search by poet so that all the poems of an author were listed together.

A good free app, doesnt have all the poetry, such as Sylvia Plath, but has a lot more. Search area is helpful.

I love this app. I find poems long forgotten and a renewed love for those I had not been ready to receive long ago. Many I have never read are always welcome surprises too. I can spend many happy hours here.

This app could be lyric poetrys greatest friend...the country cousin of fiction, poetry is built for the short read the mobile device offers...and this is the best poetry app out there! Well done!

This is a fantastic app for all readers, writers, and poetry-lovers. I have no complaints. This app allows you to "discover" random new (and old) poetry, which is wonderful, but I am most impressed by the different ways that it allows the user to browse for the kind of poems he or she wants to read. It allows the user to browse for poems by author and first line, which you would expect and is of course highly useful, but it also allows you to browse by subject (love, death, etc) and--perhaps most uniquely--by mood (grateful, disappointed, happy, sad, etc). This is a thoughtfully-designed app that really has the poetry-reader-on-the-go in mind: there is a wonderful selection of old and contemporary poems here, but as a reader you will not be overwhelmed by your choices: the intelligent browsing options will help you find the exact kind of poem you are in the mood to read right now. Also worth a mention is the option to add poems to your "favourites," which creates a list of your favourite poems for easy-access and re-reading later. I highly recommend this app. Thank you, Poetry Foundation!

I love this app. It is brilliantly designed and a great way to enjoy poetry anywhere. Audio of poets reading their poems is a fantastic feature.

Excellent anthology of poetry, will only get better with time. The interesting option that allows one to browse by mood and theme introduces you to the most surprising pieces. Add Maidenhood by Longfellow, will you? And some outside of the dead white man demographic too.

This is a great application for both the new and experienced reader. It has a good and growing selection and many useful features. Well done.

This app is fabulous! It allows you play with feelings and put different sentiments together to come up with new things. Find something from your past or simply find a new love. But with poetry, there is always love.

A roulette wheel of poetic surprises, every one a winner. Quite wonderful.

I love this app, so many poems to discover through an ingenious method. Would be lovely if it could also record our own readings of the poems.
